Wet, Wet, Wet....

All in the garden is WET, WET, WET!! I can never remember such a wet “back-end”. There are still parsnips and beetroot in the ground, the broccoli is doing well (in its cages) and I have pruned the soft fruits. When the rain finally stops there is still the job of a final weeding and rotavation to tidy up the soil for winter.


Time to do other things rather than gardening! Check out the Gardener's Thoughts section or the Book recommendations of the website for instance for a nice comfortable read!

About the John Seymour School

John Seymour came to live in Ireland in 1981 when he began work on developing his smallholding in County Wexford. A regular series of summer courses was started in 1993.     Will Sutherland joined John in running courses soon afterwards and continued to work with John until his death at the age of 90 in 2004.   Will continues to run courses and give workshops on the many and various topics covered by the Complete Book.
