The Killowen smallholding is part of two large worldwide organisations - Willing Workers on Organic Farms and HelpXchange. Both organisations put volunteers in touch with hosts who offer accommodation/meals in return for labour. Each has a different set of guidelines which govern the relationship between host and worker - check the appropriate websites for details.
