Season's Action

Once again our students have enjoyed the routine action during our summer 5 day courses. There is always a sense of achievement and satisfaction in getting in the harvest of fresh produce so it can be sorted, processed and made ready for the deep freeze. Here are the students at the end of a session picking french beans.

Then we come to the fun and games of sausage making which is always an enjoyable way to spend a wet afternoon. Making the sausages give work for everyone -mincing and mixing and grinding the black pepper.

And finally comes the great trick of making that long tube of sausage meat into the string of sausages itself. Would you buy a sausage from this man?
